About the Role

GIVENCHY is looking for an Operations Supervisor for its Rodeo Drive boutique in Los Angeles. The role is a key leadership position at the flagship store, focused on handling the flow of pre-sale merchandise into and out of the location, making sure shipping and receiving rules are followed, and supporting the smooth rollout of omnichannel operations in-store.

Founded in 1952, Givenchy is known for women’s and men’s fashion that blends elegance, sophistication, and femininity. Under Creative Director Matthew M. Williams, the House continues to emphasize craftsmanship, detail, tailoring, technology, and a modern, inclusive brand direction.

Responsibilities

  • Keep inventory stored in a clean, secure, well-organized, and efficient manner.
  • Help the selling team when products are available in stock but not on the sales floor.
  • Stay ahead of merchandising and storage needs by proposing practical solutions for space and inventory management challenges.
  • Make sure all merchandise is properly tagged.
  • Assist visual merchandising and operations efforts by moving and storing fixtures, furniture, merchandise, props, and related materials.
  • Support store upkeep and maintenance, including cleaning coordination and repair follow-up when needed.
  • Take part in the timely completion of inventories and cycle counts.
  • Remain actively involved in inventory reconciliation.
  • Handle inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and all incoming and outgoing shipments according to policy.
  • Accurately complete all prêt-à-porter inventory maintenance documentation and related procedures, including damages and RTVs.
  • Maintain very high standards when preparing and packaging client merchandise.
  • Oversee the full client delivery process, including resolving issues with missing deliveries.
  • Record client deliveries and track merchandise when needed.
  • Assist other teams or support the selling floor when requested by the Store Manager or Director.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in retail, preferably with a focus on stock, inventory, or luxury retail operations.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning multiple software applications.
  • Foreign language ability is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, action-driven, and proactive.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Good problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $24 to $26, depending on relevant skills and experience. The role also comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, several paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contribution, bonus structure, holiday pay, 401k, and automatic employee contribution.

Equal Opportunity Statement

The employer is committed to diversity and equal opportunity. Applicants are considered without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability. Reasonable accommodation will be provided for candidates with disabilities during the application or interview process, as well as for essential job functions.
