Role Overview

The Operations Manager plays a vital role in driving the day-to-day efficiency of operations and creating the operations strategy for the New York flagship store. Responsibilities encompass managing product flow, controlling inventory, overseeing ecommerce fulfillment, enforcing policies, and protecting assets. Collaboration with the management team is key to streamlining operations, ultimately enhancing sales, customer service, and stock management for both online and in-store channels.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Carry out full inventory audits quarterly or as needed to minimize discrepancies.
• Analyze business trends and collaborate with senior management to adjust pull back requests, consolidations, and style selections.
• Oversee all product deliveries, defective item handling, and organizational processes to enhance client experience.
• Train team members on operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
• Manage ecommerce operations, including monitoring consignments, transfers, client-owned purchases, and holds while enforcing operational policies.
• Maintain adequate stock replenishment and inventory levels for ecommerce fulfillment.
• Ensure timely completion of daily order fulfillment with effective communication between customer service and warehouse teams.
• Implement continuous process improvements to reduce stockouts, shipment delays, and other key metrics impacting the customer experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong organizational and administrative abilities, including proficiency in Excel and computer applications.
• Previous experience utilizing operations systems highly preferred.
• Strategic mindset capable of big-picture thinking and generating innovative solutions.
• Excellent analytical capabilities with attention to detail, using data-driven insights to support decisions and business cases.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in operations management, preferably within retail or luxury sectors.
