Operations Associate

Role Overview

We seek a meticulous and proactive Operations Associate to support daily functions in merchandising, eCommerce, wholesale, and supply chain for the UK and Europe, while occasionally assisting North America operations. This opportunity suits an organised individual eager to learn and forge a career in retail merchandising, eCommerce, and commercial operations. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager and collaborating across teams in various regions, this role ensures precise product data, inventory coordination, order fulfillment, and merchandise planning to facilitate seamless commercial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in product assortment and seasonal launch planning alongside the Merchandising Manager.
• Monitor and help plan stock replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Compile merchandising reports covering sales performance, stock status, sell-through rates, and product metrics.
• Support pricing strategies, markdowns, and promotional initiatives.
• Coordinate with operations and eCommerce teams to ensure punctual launches of products.
• Analyze sales trends and competitor activities to inform trading decisions.
• Oversee stock transfers and inventory distribution among warehouses and online channels.
• Maintain daily eCommerce operations, including updating product listings, content, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
• Generate regular analytical reports on online sales and operational metrics.
• Efficiently process wholesale purchase orders and manage associated documentation.
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders on order confirmations, shipping schedules, and delivery updates.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to organise B2B order processing and swiftly address order issues and client inquiries.
• Support wholesale customer service activities, including invoicing, communications, and coordination with headquarters in Singapore.
• Administer style assortments and product data for marketplaces and track marketplace sales performance weekly, offering actionable insights.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong analytical abilities, organisational skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Precision and keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Aptitude for learning systems such as ERP, OMS, WMS, SAP, merchandising, and eCommerce platforms.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic retail setting.
• Positive mindset with eagerness to learn and work collaboratively.

Preferred Experience

• Background in retail, merchandising, eCommerce, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Foundational knowledge of merchandise planning, inventory administration, and retail operations.
• Familiarity with retail systems and online marketplace management is beneficial.
