Job description
Role Overview
The Operation Executive at M/s PLB Furniture in Lucknow is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing shop-floor operations to ensure timely achievement of production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily activities on the production floor including scheduling of shifts to achieve targets efficiently.
- Optimize utilization of manpower, raw materials, and machinery to avoid workflow congestion and idle time.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain product quality standards, and handle any defect repairs or rework.
- Monitor inventory levels of work-in-progress and raw materials to minimize scrap and waste generation.
- Collaborate with engineering departments for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives aimed at minimizing equipment downtime.
- Implement lean manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban to enhance process efficiency and cycle time reduction.
