Position Overview
Veridian Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Office Manager for a part-time role based in the New York City metropolitan area. This contract-to-hire position spans over six months, with a weekly schedule of 20 to 25 hours, specifically working on-site three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk activities by welcoming visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage incoming communication including phone calls, emails, courier services, and visitor coordination.
- Arrange and maintain meeting room bookings to ensure an efficient use of spaces.
- Manage office administrative tasks including pantry supply, stationery, and logistical support.
- Facilitate employee onboarding procedures such as issuing access cards and handling workplace service requests.
- Collaborate with external vendors for ongoing office supplies procurement and routine facility maintenance services.
- Assist in organizing office events, foster employee engagement, and contribute to other operational activities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, security standards, and administrative protocols.
- Provide additional administrative support to the Support Operations team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in office management or a similar role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
