Overview
Join Avara Foods at their Brackley site in Northamptonshire as a Night Hygiene Operative, earning a starting pay of £13.65 per hour with an added £2.00 per hour shift allowance. Avara Foods is a leading food company in the UK, specializing in poultry products from farm to customer.
Role Summary
As a Night Hygiene Operative, you will work in a fast-paced FMCG factory environment, including refrigerated and noisy areas. Your responsibilities will focus on maintaining the factory’s cleanliness to comply with strict hygiene standards required for short shelf-life product manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean the facility following Company Cleaning Instruction Cards standards.
- Thoroughly sanitize all machinery prior to production using jet washers and appropriate chemicals.
- Ensure all equipment is wiped clean to remove residues after cleaning operations.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning times to allow prompt production start-up.
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in English and numeracy skills.
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and flexibility when performing various tasks.
- Prior production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Applicants must not keep Avian pets or poultry due to bird welfare considerations.
Work Schedule
Working hours are scheduled from 6 PM to 6 AM in a 4-on, 4-off pattern.
