Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time National Account Manager to join The Culinary Food Group, based onsite in Naas. This position involves traveling to meet clients. The role focuses on developing and managing selected customer accounts to maximise sales and ensure excellent customer satisfaction. The incumbent will utilize TCFG systems effectively to maintain exceptional service standards internally and externally, and will work collaboratively with supporting teams to improve order fulfilment, safeguard existing sales, and drive new revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass sales revenue and profitability targets for assigned customer accounts.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain teams to accurately forecast product needs, maintaining real-time projections.
- Fully assume responsibility for comprehensive account management activities to ensure delivery of TCFG’s products and services.
- Deliver prompt and outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships to boost sales and unearth new business opportunities.
- Manage customer experience by meeting expectations and fully utilizing HUB for BURs task updates.
- Oversee project management including Gate 0 approvals and maintain detailed project records via the HUB.
- Handle pricing requests, prepare formal quotations with financial support, and oversee credit risk and debtor accounts.
- Coordinate sample requests with the sales administrator to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Conduct quarterly sales reviews and maintain ongoing communication about future sales and projects.
- Collaborate with the New Product Development team to ensure products and packaging align with customer needs, managing all project updates on the HUB.
- Drive business development by fostering relationships with targeted prospective clients consistent with the Sales Growth Strategy.
- Monitor inventory for assigned customers, managing bespoke finished goods and raw materials agreements, including leftover stock.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum five years' experience as an Account Manager or similar position in the FMCG industry.
- Thorough understanding of FMCG business practices.
- Excellent communication capabilities, both written and oral.
- Competency in Excel and data handling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong team player with the capacity to work autonomously.
