About the Role

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a dependable and adaptable Multi Skilled Person to join the team at Newman RC College in Oldham, OL9 9QY. This is a full-time, permanent position with a working schedule of 40 hours per week. The role offers an annual salary of A32624 along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Shift options include:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:20pm
• Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm
• Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 8:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Support general maintenance and cleaning tasks throughout the school site.
• Manage site duties including the opening and closing of the building.
• Assist in overseeing the cleaning team and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide cover for lettings to support operational needs as required.
• Attend occasional emergency call-outs when necessary.
• Travel between sites using a clean driving licence.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Practical experience in maintenance and site caretaking duties.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to consistently follow site policies and company procedures.
• Skills in building and maintaining effective customer relationships.
• Must be able to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as a condition of employment.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.
