Multi-Skilled Operator - Fruit Operations (Monday to Friday)

About the Role

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator to join our Fruit Operations team at our Crewkerne site. This position works Monday through Friday from 6am to 2pm. Crewkerne hosts several departments including Dairy Production, Fruit Production, and Savoury Production, contributing to the creation of high-quality dairy products, fruit ingredients for yogurt, and soups.

Main Responsibilities

• Handling supply and receipt of raw materials within the Fruit Operations.
• Managing palletizing and dispatching of finished products.
• Loading and unloading lorries efficiently.
• Performing yard work as required.
• Following Health & Safety and Quality standards diligently.
• Packing recognized products with care.
• Operating diverse machinery such as filling, packing, forming, and CNC machines.
• Completing paperwork accurately in support of production processes.
• Applying Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) consistently.
• Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling production equipment.
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong commitment to Health and Safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Capable of performing manual tasks confidently.
• Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operation.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
