Motel Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Motel Manager to oversee all hotel operations at our Nanango location. This full-time, permanent role includes managing reception, housekeeping, garden maintenance, security, and ensuring a smooth customer experience across bar, restaurant, and event functions. The role involves compliance management with relevant laws and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise reception and housekeeping services as well as gardening, maintenance, and security operations.
• Plan and coordinate bar, restaurant, function, and conference activities while ensuring legal compliance with liquor, gaming, and other regulations.
• Evaluate customer satisfaction through feedback and address patron complaints directly to maintain high service standards.
• Oversee financial processes including accounting and purchasing.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety practices.
• Manage staff teams and external contractors effectively.
• Provide guests with local tourism insights and organize tours and transportation arrangements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior experience in motel management is mandatory.
• The position includes a residence onsite with 3 bedrooms available.
• A relief manager is designated to cover absences or time off.
• Dedicated housekeeping staff is provided to support operations.
• Applicants requiring visa sponsorship will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range from $76,000 to $80,000 per annum, exceeding the regional average for this role.
