Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve injection molding processes by setting parameters, monitoring production runs, and gathering relevant data.
• Assist in diagnosing molding defects, identifying root causes, and working closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Help implement and sustain preventive maintenance schedules for molding machinery.
• Perform fundamental statistical data analysis to spot trends and opportunities for process enhancements.
• Support documentation efforts including maintaining process workflows, preparing work instructions, and tracking engineering changes.
• Learn and apply design for manufacturability concepts applicable to molded parts.
• Participate in new product launches by assisting with mold trials and validation procedures.
• Work with cross-departmental teams such as production, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Strictly follow safety protocols and keep work areas organized and clean.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Prior knowledge or exposure to injection molding equipment and processes is preferred.
• Understanding of plastic material properties.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capability.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
