MIS Executive - Solar Net Metering

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-focused MIS Executive to oversee the entire net metering workflow for rooftop solar projects based in Hyderabad. The role requires effective communication with customers, DISCOM authorities, vendors, and various internal teams to ensure prompt approvals, meter installations, and project completions, while complying with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end net metering operations from application submission to final sanction.
• Gather, authenticate, and organize all necessary customer documentation related to net metering.
• Submit applications via DISCOM and governmental portals.
• Liaise with customers, on-field teams, vendors, and DISCOM officials to facilitate smooth processing.
• Monitor the progress of applications and regularly follow up to expedite approvals and meter installations.
• Resolve issues arising from documentation or portal discrepancies.
• Coordinate meter installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Adhere strictly to DISCOM guidelines, DCR norms, subsidy obligations, and other relevant regulations.
• Maintain precise records, reporting, and Management Information Systems related to net metering.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and update them throughout the process.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure timely project completion.

Qualification and Experience

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with suitable educational background are welcome to apply.
• Priority given to candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in solar net metering or the renewable energy sector.

Skills and Competencies

• Understanding of rooftop solar power generation and net metering procedures.
• Experience navigating DISCOM portals and governmental protocols.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude along with diligent follow-up capabilities.
• Sufficient autonomy to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Desirable: Experience in subsidy-related paperwork, knowledge of electrical diagrams, solar system commissioning, and familiarity with state electricity regulations.
