Merchandiser

Overview

An export-house opportunity in Jaipur for an experienced merchandiser who can manage the full order lifecycle for textile products. The role calls for strong buyer handling, coordination across internal teams, and careful follow-through from sampling through shipment.

Experience and profile

Candidates should bring 2 to 6 years of relevant experience. A graduate degree is expected, and applicants with a background in textile or fashion are preferred.

Core responsibilities

• Work directly with buyers and clients to understand product expectations and oversee order execution.
• Manage the merchandising workflow end to end, from initial samples to final dispatch.
• Draft T&A schedules, calculate costing, prepare order sheets, and monitor production progress.
• Coordinate closely with production, quality, and logistics functions to keep orders moving smoothly.
• Track sample approvals and ensure shipments are released on time.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with overseas buyers and clients.
• Prior experience dealing with the US market will be considered an advantage.

Skills and knowledge

The position requires a solid understanding of merchandising, textile and garment processes, costing, coordination, communication, MS Excel, and time management.
