NEST - A NxtGen Career School is an initiative focused on industry-integrated skilling, partnering with colleges through formal agreements to prepare primarily engineering and AI/ML undergraduate students for careers in global and multinational corporations. The program supports Tier-2 colleges in India by integrating practical, applied learning into the academic experiences from classrooms to careers.

Role Overview

As a Mentor representing NEST on college campuses in Tamil Nadu, you will guide students towards experiential understanding rather than rote learning. The role involves traveling to partner institutions to conduct group sessions and individual mentoring, embodying and promoting NEST’s educational values and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit partner colleges in Tamil Nadu to deliver mentoring sessions and act as NEST’s on-site representative.
• Assist students in comprehending and applying concepts practically instead of mere memorization.
• Explain technical subjects and career guidance patiently with clarity and adaptability to varied student proficiency levels.
• Continuously update yourself on evolving technologies and industry trends, adopting new knowledge and skills.
• Work collaboratively with the NEST team and fellow mentors, encouraging a supportive team environment.
• Effectively communicate with students, faculty members, and college coordinators fluently in English and Tamil.
• Maintain professional conduct that reflects NEST’s standards during campus engagements.
