Role Overview
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Member of Technical Staff focused on frontier AI. The work centers on advancing next-generation models and systems through deep technical research and engineering contributions that expand what current AI can do.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine advanced AI architectures and algorithms for next-generation systems.
- Drive research efforts aimed at improving model efficiency, scalability, and overall performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to move AI solutions into live production environments.
- Document research outcomes through technical reports, white papers, and conference-ready submissions.
- Test, compare, and benchmark new AI models, frameworks, and hardware accelerators.
Required Qualifications
- A PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related area is preferred, or comparable industry experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Solid exposure to large-scale distributed training and model optimization methods.
- Understanding of AI hardware and accelerator platforms, including GPUs and TPUs.
- Proven ability to work independently on research problems and deliver technical outcomes.
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning, generative AI, or multimodal systems is an advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capability for complex AI systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to varied audiences.
