Otsuka Pharmaceutical India Private Limited (OPI) is the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese multinational corporation Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, Inc. (OPF-Japan). The customer base mainly includes government and private hospitals, aid agencies, and nursing homes. The manufacturing facilities located in Ahmedabad are state-of-the-art with approvals from international regulatory bodies like INVIMA-COLOMBIA, featuring advanced chemical and instrumental analysis laboratories.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain regular contact with designated doctors following a pre-approved daily visitation schedule.
- Understand the specialties of doctors to tailor product promotion accordingly.
- Gather product feedback from doctors and address any related concerns or complaints promptly, coordinating with headquarters as necessary.
- Engage with chemists in the assigned territory to ensure product availability; handle order bookings and forward them to stockists or distributors, and monitor order fulfillment.
- Resolve issues related to product expiry, damage during transport, and credit or debit notes efficiently with guidance from superiors.
- Ensure every customer interaction yields productive results.
- Organize conferences for doctors and allied medical personnel.
- Participate actively in company meetings, technical presentations, and briefings.
- Keep the District Sales Manager and the company informed about new market trends and competitor activities.
- Implement marketing plans effectively within the territory.
Candidate Profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of Otsuka and its product portfolio.
- Familiarity with the roles and responsibilities of a Key Account Manager or Medical Representative.
- Proficient organizational and planning abilities.
