About European XFEL and Role Overview

European XFEL is an international non-profit organization based near Hamburg, Germany, operating a 3.4 km X-ray laser facility used for advanced research in physics, chemistry, life sciences, and materials science. Primary Responsibilities

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines.
  • Experience handling precision measurement systems, motion control technology, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with magnetic measurement methods, Hall probe technology, or accelerator magnet analysis is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in scientific data analysis and programming using tools such as Python or MATLAB.
