Overview
This role is for a math professional who can help improve AI systems by creating challenging math problems, checking chatbot responses, and assessing how well the models reason through solutions.
The work calls for strong mathematical thinking at an expert level. Backgrounds closely aligned with this role include Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
What the role involves
- Design varied and advanced mathematics questions for AI chatbots and review their answers.
- Judge model output for accuracy, reasoning quality, and overall performance.
Working arrangement
- You can select the projects you want to take on and decide when you work.
- The work is completed on your own schedule, using your own computer, from home.
- This is an independent contractor engagement.
Compensation and payment
Pay starts at USD 40+ per hour, and some projects may include higher bonus rates.
Payments are processed through PayPal. Currency conversion from USD, if needed, is handled by PayPal.
Qualifications
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Solid command of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, statistics, and inductive and deductive reasoning.
- Master’s or PhD in progress, completed, or planned is preferred, though not mandatory.
