Fooda started in 2011 to solve a lunch dilemma faced by office workers in Chicago. By bringing local restaurant popups directly into offices, Fooda revolutionized workplace dining. Now operating in 60 cities with over 100 million meals served, Fooda partners with more than 3,500 restaurants to deliver unique food programs to workplaces, hospitals, schools, and distribution centers nationwide.
Position Summary
The Manager of Client Success leads Fooda's operations in the Columbus market, one of its largest regions. This role involves daily operational oversight and leadership of the Columbus team to ensure excellent experiences for clients and their employees. The ideal candidate will establish high operational standards across Fooda’s client portfolio and restaurant partners. This position reports to the Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations and is a hybrid role requiring some in-office presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide management, coaching, and support to teams running day-to-day operations, ensuring accountability for client relationships and restaurant performance.
- Train and guide multiple operations staff on best practices such as client business reviews, account retention, and managing expenses.
- Oversee recruiting, training, and retention efforts for team members.
- Address operational challenges by developing and implementing strategies aligned with client requirements.
- Coordinate with market leadership and sales teams on client retention efforts across markets.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders.
- Travel approximately 50% locally within Columbus to support operations (this is not a fully remote role).
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality with client-facing experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills for coaching team members and communicating effectively with leadership.
- Proven project management capabilities with successful completion of initiatives.
- Solid financial insight and experience analyzing data to report performance to upper management.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Confident communicator who can assert ideas while balancing customer needs.
- Hands-on problem solver who leads by example with a positive attitude.
