Role Overview
This position is tasked with leading and owning the Distributor Channel operations, focusing on hitting revenue goals and expanding the customer base. It also manages exclusive mass-market retail outlets and shop-in-shop setups.
About the Business Unit
The Consumer business unit at Ooredoo plays a pivotal role in direct customer engagement across all consumer products. It contributes strategically to long-term value by designing products, achieving sales and profitability targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction in line with annual plans. The Consumer Sales division drives sales management across all consumer product lines, targeting optimized customer acquisitions and increasing consumer spending through efficient guidance of B2C sales channels including prepaid, postpaid, and fixed services. The Indirect channels team specifically focuses on revenue growth and customer acquisition via designated indirect sales routes.
Experience and Skills Required
- At least 10 years of experience in a relevant managerial position.
- Comprehensive understanding of telecommunication products and offerings.
- Expertise in third-party distribution frameworks and processes.
- Strong blend of commercial insight and technical knowledge.
- In-depth familiarity with various handset models, emerging technology, and trends within the mobile sector.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with suppliers, along with demonstrated success in launching products to market.
Minimum Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
