Overview
The role of Manager Accommodation & Staff Logistics at Della Resorts & Adventure, located in Lonavala, Maharashtra, involves comprehensive oversight of housing and staff transportation services for a large on-site workforce. This position supports over 1,100 employees by managing 110 residential units and ensuring seamless daily logistics, consistent with the company’s employee-centric values.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee allocation and management of 110 residential units for various staff levels including executives, supervisors, and associates, maintaining optimal use and allocation of space.
- Supervise housekeeping, pest control, cleaning schedules, and waste management activities within accommodation blocks to ensure sanitary living environments.
- Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance team to manage civil, electrical, and plumbing repairs while conducting weekly structural inspections.
- Maintain detailed asset records for furniture, linen, appliances, and other items allocated to staff residences.
- Implement and monitor housing policies, safety protocols, and disciplinary codes to foster a positive community living atmosphere.
- Design, schedule, and optimize transport arrangements to shuttle over 1,100 staff daily between residential facilities, shifts, and external transit points.
- Manage vendor relations for transportation services ensuring vehicle safety, maintenance, proper licensing, and efficient route planning.
- Align transport plans with dynamic 24/7 resort shift rosters to avoid delays and operational disruptions.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the staff cafeteria and executive dining area, emphasizing food safety, nutritional quality, consistent taste, and diverse menu offerings for more than a thousand employees.
- Maintain health and safety measures including first-aid readiness, emergency response protocols, and fire safety systems in staff residential areas.
- Work with HR to plan employee engagement events such as quarterly town halls and community activities within residential zones.
- Administer financial budgets for housing, cafeteria supplies, transport, and utility expenses, achieving cost efficiency without reducing quality or safety.
- Ensure compliance with local municipal regulations, fire safety certifications, and state labor laws pertaining to staff accommodation.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional logistical management capabilities to coordinate large-scale workforce transportation under demanding timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, combining empathy with the ability to address grievances and enforce disciplinary actions effectively.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, managing contracts and relationships with food service providers, transport companies, and maintenance contractors.
- Ability to maintain composure and provide crisis management during emergencies such as medical incidents, severe weather disruptions, or power outages.

- Reporting: This position reports to the Head of HR or Director of Operations.
- Travel: Travel when required based on operational needs.
- Experience: Candidates must have between 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
