Logistics Executive

Role overview

This position is based in Singapore and is responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics activities to keep material flow accurate, timely, and well controlled within a fast-paced shipyard environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities so that receiving, inspection, put-away, picking, issuing, and transportation are managed smoothly and correctly.
• Identify and settle any mismatches or issues found in equipment and materials received.
• Maintain complete and orderly records, forms, and reports related to the receipt, storage, movement, and control of equipment and materials.
• Make sure the right materials are delivered on time to the correct end user and to the proper location.
• Track inventory daily to avoid shortages and trigger replenishment when stock levels fall.
• Carry out and monitor preservation work on equipment packages.
• Support scrap tender activities and related follow-up tasks.

Requirements

• A Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is required at minimum.
• Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided on the job.
• Strong planning and organisational ability, with the capability to work on your own initiative.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Clear interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and perform well in a busy, high-pressure setting.
• Experience in shipyard operations and familiarity with SAP will be considered an advantage.
