Logistics Analyst

Overview

The role of a Logistics Planning Analyst centers on coordinating and streamlining the movement of materials and work processes within or between departments, aligning with the production schedule. This position involves reviewing and distributing schedules and compiling reports related to inventory and costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect documentation, materials, and products to evaluate completeness, precision, and compliance with established standards and specifications.
• Perform daily monitoring of engine transfers and packaging operations across the factory.
• Utilize GPS tracking technology to oversee inventory and mitigate potential risks.
• Analyze documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing charts to identify required materials and personnel, along with their prioritization.
• Document production figures including quantities produced, raw material consumption, and quality control data.
• Request and maintain necessary inventory of materials and supplies to fulfill production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 0 to 2 years of pertinent experience considered acceptable, including internships.
• Proficiency in Excel is preferred; familiarity with Power BI and report creation is advantageous.
• Strong data entry capabilities and effective communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and interpersonal skills.
• Competence in analyzing manufacturing, labor, and material costs.
• Accuracy in documenting and recording customer or client data.
• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to shipping and production.
• Experience using software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $23.00 to $24.00 with eligibility for overtime pay at 1.5 times the base rate for hours exceeding 40 per week, subject to applicable labor laws.
