Role Overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for a Learning Design Professional 3 with a duration of 10 months and a possibility of extension. The role focuses on creating effective learning materials and digital training experiences using established instructional design practices.

What You Will Do

Apply the ADDIE model to structure learning development work.
Review and interpret source content to determine learning needs.
Develop learning solutions that align with business and training goals.
Build e-learning modules from source material and storyboards.
Develop virtual instructor-led training sessions using source content and procedure documents.
Create supporting job aids and related learning resources.
Work within provided templates and follow existing documentation standards.
Operate with limited supervision while seeking guidance when needed.
Keep work aligned to schedules and agreed timelines.
Share status updates and raise blockers or risks when necessary.
Collaborate with teammates using communication and coordination tools.

Required Experience and Tools

At least 5 years of experience as a learning design professional.
At least 5 years of experience in instructional design or a related learning/training role.
Hands-on experience with standard instructional design tools, including Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Experience using Camtasia.

Preferred Background

A bachelor's degree in Learning and Performance, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience in a consumer-focused organization is an advantage.
Prior work experience in healthcare or insurance environments is preferred.

Additional Information

This position is structured as a 10-month remote assignment and may continue beyond the initial term if extended. The role expects familiarity with standard procedures, the ability to work independently, and the discipline to deliver against timelines.
