Role Overview
Aditya Birla Capital is seeking a Lead for Product Development within DCM/CSG. This role sits at the Chief Manager or Senior Chief Manager level and focuses on building and managing products end to end, with an emphasis on health or life insurance.
Location
The position is based across Lower Parel and Thane, with travel required between both offices.
Experience
The role calls for 5 to 10 years of experience.
Qualification Requirements
- Medical, legal, or management backgrounds are preferred, including MBBS, BDS, CS, LLB, or MBA, along with strong drafting ability.
- Alternatively, candidates with a graduate or postgraduate degree and at least 5 years of product development experience in health insurance or life insurance may apply.
- Applicants should be able to use customer insight and technical limits to shape practical product features.
- Strong stakeholder handling skills are important for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full product journey, from market study and concept creation to development, filing, and approval.
- Encourage new ideas and product innovation within the team.
- Identify customer segments, assess market gaps, and define the right product positioning, especially for B2C offerings.
- Contribute content for marketing material related to both new and existing products.
- Resolve regulatory questions and support compliance-related clarifications.
- Prepare the go-to-market plan ahead of product launch.
- Lead GTM initiatives such as product releases, system upgrades, automation efforts, and partner integrations for new and existing products.
- Work with IT to help translate product requirements into system development needs.
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions before product rollouts.
