Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Laundry Attendant based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to uphold top-tier cleanliness and organization within the laundry department. Reporting directly to the Laundry Supervisor, you will manage sorting, processing, and preparing linens while strictly adhering to health and safety protocols. Your focus on quality and teamwork will be vital to the smooth running of our housekeeping efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort used linens from guest rooms and food/beverage areas, filling containers with correct labeling for collection.
• Set aside damaged or inappropriately used linen for further review and reporting.
• Immediately notify the Supervisor of any foreign objects such as glass, food, utensils, or needles found in linens or chute areas.
• Fold, roll, and arrange clean towels, bathrobes, and other room linens into containers, ready for distribution by floor staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace continuously.
• Strictly follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Assist with washing linens and towels when necessary, following chemical handling instructions and safe lifting procedures.
• Promptly report equipment failures or safety risks to the Supervisor.
• Provide support to team members and undertake additional laundry-related tasks as required.
• Participate in training and professional development programs offered by housekeeping and HR departments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Completion of High School or equivalent vocational training certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in laundry or housekeeping operations preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Physical ability to regularly lift and handle items up to 25 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to consistently follow instructions and standard procedures.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards and chemical handling protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities with a cooperative attitude.
• Demonstrated reliability, timeliness, and dedication to work.
• Stamina to work effectively in a fast-paced laundry environment.
• Experience in luxury hotel housekeeping is an advantage.
• Problem-solving skills and resilience in dynamic work situations.
