Role Overview
This position is for a permanent part-time Laundry Assistant working 21 hours per week, covering AM, PM, and weekend shifts at Telford Lifecare. The role involves delivering an effective laundry service ensuring cleanliness and resident satisfaction within a caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient laundry and dry-cleaning services for residents.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively within a multiskilled team and work independently as required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services is preferred, though comprehensive training will be offered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Physical fitness to manage role demands.
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety, infection control protocols, and privacy regulations.
- Understanding and application of Nga Paerewa sector standards and Treaty of Waitangi principles in the workplace.
