Job Overview

Join Panda Restaurant Group as a Kitchen Team Associate and become part of a welcoming team dedicated to preparing delicious meals while ensuring top hygiene standards for guests. Gain valuable skills in a safe and friendly environment where teamwork and personal growth are encouraged. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training is provided. Be involved in community service through our Panda Cares program as well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding dining experiences by welcoming guests, serving food, and managing payments at the register.
  • Keep the restaurant clean and visually appealing at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to operational standards and safety protocols to serve fresh, quality food.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen, fulfilling roles at the front counter, drive-through, or kitchen as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily targets in a positive and enjoyable atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Friendly and cooperative attitude towards teamwork.
  • Previous operations experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Minimum education: some high school completed.
  • Food Handler certification may be necessary depending on local laws, to be obtained at employee's expense.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Expect to work in an environment with heat and steam, requiring standing for extended periods (up to four hours). Tasks involve preparing hot and cold foods, using kitchen tools like the Chinese chef's knife, moving quickly without compromising accuracy, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Noise levels can be high, and shelf storage may be at elevated heights. Effective communication, adaptability, and conflict management skills are essential.
