Key Account Manager

About The Role

Join a prominent FMCG brand that constantly pushes the limits to set new industry standards. This position involves managing critical retail partnerships with autonomy to lead change and ownership. You will oversee Foodstuffs accounts across the North and South Islands on a fixed-term contract until June 2027. The role is based in Auckland with occasional travel to Christchurch for engagements with Foodstuffs South Island.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Foodstuffs North and South Island accounts to drive sales, increase market share, and support sustainable growth.
• Create and execute customer plans that align with business objectives and growth targets.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working in FMCG sales, particularly with Foodstuffs customers.
• Proven background in Key Account Management or a strong Key Account Executive prepared to advance into this role.
• Strong business insight, including expertise in business planning, sales forecasting, and effective trade spend management.
• Confident presenter with the ability to influence customers and negotiate favorable commercial outcomes.
• Skilled in data analysis and turning insights into actionable plans for customer engagement.
