Your Role
As a calculator, you will be responsible for estimating and evaluating project-related costs across the full lifecycle of an order. The position combines bid preparation, order costing, and post-calculation work, with close cooperation in commercial and project-related negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project-specific quotation calculations, order calculations, and subsequent post-calculations.
- Collect, review, and assess all relevant cost elements, quantities, and labour-hour budgets.
- Support the proposal lead during contract and order negotiations.
- Create standardized price comparisons and cost summaries.
- Analyze and evaluate the underlying cost structure.
Candidate Profile
The role is suited to applicants with a completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or financial mathematics. Prior professional experience is desirable, preferably in plant engineering or mechanical engineering.
Strong German and English skills at B2 level or higher are required, along with confident use of MS Office. The company is looking for someone who works carefully, communicates well, enjoys teamwork, and is willing to travel as part of project execution.
