We are looking for an experienced K-12 teaching coach to guide educators who want to enhance their classroom skills and advance their careers. This role involves providing support with lesson planning, curriculum design, managing classroom environments, evaluating student performance, and special education. Additionally, the coach helps clients with career-related tasks including resume critiques, cover letter preparation, interview techniques, networking approaches, promotion strategies, salary negotiations, and continual skill development.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Offer hands-on coaching to K-12 educators aiming to grow professionally and improve teaching practices.
- Guide clients in developing effective lesson plans, suitable curricula, classroom management tactics, and assessment methods.
- Provide support on special education topics and techniques.
- Assist educators with career progression through resume and cover letter review, interview preparation, networking, and negotiation coaching.
- Set your own schedule and rates while conducting coaching sessions virtually.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure all clients receive consistently excellent and supportive coaching experiences.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience working as a K-12 teacher with practical classroom exposure.
- Prior experience in mentoring or coaching roles related to teaching or education.
- A clear, organized, and systematic method for helping clients develop both their educational and career capabilities.
