Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Junior Architect to join our Riyadh-based team. This position suits recent graduates or those with up to one year of professional architectural experience who have a strong passion for design and aim to enhance their expertise through diverse projects such as residential villas, multi-story buildings, and commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of architectural concepts from initial idea through schematic and detailed design phases.
- Assist in developing architectural drawings, presentations, and project documentation.
- Contribute to design development ensuring strict adherence to project specifications.
- Help ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code and local regulatory requirements under supervision.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural and MEP engineers to facilitate integrated project outcomes.
- Participate in crafting innovative and practical design solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Experience level between zero and one year in architectural design; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic familiarity with residential and commercial architectural projects.
- Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code is advantageous.
- A strong enthusiasm for architectural concept development and design thinking.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with architectural software including:
- Revit (basic to intermediate skills in BIM modeling and documentation).
- AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
- SketchUp for conceptual 3D modeling.
- Basic rendering skills using Lumion or Enscape.
- Adobe Photoshop and preferably Adobe InDesign for presentation and graphics work.
- Understanding of BIM workflows is preferred.
Soft Skills
- Creative and design-oriented mindset.
- Keen willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate within teams.
- Strong time management skills to handle deadlines efficiently.
