About the Role
Bunge is looking to hire a Junior Accountant to join its expanding finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position is essential for maintaining the company's financial integrity by accurately recording transactions in compliance with local laws and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable by processing customer and vendor invoices.
- Support bank reconciliations and oversee cash-related transactions.
- Assist in accounting for inventory and related financial postings.
- Maintain prepaid expense recordings and support amortization schedules.
- Handle intercompany transaction processing and reconciliation activities.
- Update and maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation processes.
- Support general ledger entries, particularly SG&A expense postings.
- Assist with VAT and withholding tax reporting aligned with Saudi Arabian regulations.
- Contribute to month-end closing processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial tasks.
- Effective command of English in both written and spoken form.
- Conversational skills in Arabic for communication with stakeholders and clients.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of Saudi tax protocols, including VAT and withholding tax, is highly preferred.
