Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated janitorial staff for full-time and part-time roles, offering steady employment with weekly pay at $14 per hour. Working primarily during evening shifts, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep across various client locations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Use chemical cleaners and powered equipment properly to avoid damage to floors and furnishings.
• Regularly service restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrance areas, keeping them sanitary and tidy.
• Dispose of trash appropriately, including operating compactors where required.
• Clean glass elements such as windows, partitions, and mirrors with suitable agents.
• Conduct spot cleaning on carpets and assist with deeper carpet cleaning like extraction and shampooing.
• Restock paper items and sanitary supplies as needed.
• Adhere to scheduled housekeeping plans and protocols.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery including floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet client or supervisory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience.
• Training for the role will be provided on the job.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning protocols and custodial best practices.
• Skills in floor care including buffing and waxing.
• Background in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance is advantageous.
