IT Technician

Role Overview

JK Technology is looking for an IT Technician to support on-site deployment activities across Singapore. The role focuses on checking equipment, documenting asset condition, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that all handling follows company security and data protection standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the IT Coordinator to keep site operations running smoothly and help address any day-to-day issues that arise.
• Inspect IT peripherals at customer locations and confirm whether any faults are present.
• Keep accurate records of equipment condition and serial numbers.
• Flag any mismatch, damage, or other issues found in returned devices.
• Prepare returned equipment for transport back to the main office.
• Follow company policies related to IT security and data handling at all times.
• Assist with logistics tasks, including organizing transport and helping move equipment when needed.
• Oversee and support part-time staff and interns with routine operational work.

Requirements

• Nitec in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Applicants with foundational knowledge of IT hardware are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to deal well with users are important.
• Willingness to travel is necessary, as assignments may be scheduled anywhere in Singapore.
