Role Overview
The Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is searching for a Desktop Support Specialist to join its Information Systems team. This vital position supports end-users by maintaining desktop computers, applications, and related technology in line with established organizational standards.

Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for staff requiring technical help
- Manage and prioritize the IT support ticket queue efficiently
- Install, configure, and test computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Identify and troubleshoot unique and nonroutine technical problems with minimal oversight
- Work collaboratively with users and IT team members to resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain documentation regarding support activities, configurations, problems, and resolutions
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, especially regarding security and operational procedures
Qualifications and Experience
- Between one and three years of experience in IS systems support or an equivalent mix of education and experience
- Strong analytical skills to define problems, gather data, and formulate effective solutions
- Capability to comprehend and execute detailed written or verbal instructions
