Role Overview

We are collaborating with a partner based in Berlin to optimize their reporting frameworks, and are seeking an Interface Developer Intern to assist in the technical integration of these financial platforms. This role involves supporting consultants in constructing and maintaining connections between various financial software applications, ensuring smooth data flow into centralized planning tools employed by clients daily. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work flexibly while maintaining close communication with the team. It is a paid internship offering remuneration competitive with current market standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring data integration tools to transfer financial records across systems.
• Develop and test simple scripts to convert data formats for cross-platform compatibility.
• Analyze data mappings to detect and correct inconsistencies leading to reporting errors.
• Produce thorough documentation detailing the structure of interfaces for seamless client transition.
• Engage in troubleshooting sessions to address data loading problems.
• Collaborate with consultants to verify that final configurations meet original design requirements.
• Maintain system logs and monitor the progress of data migration activities.
• Learn to utilize specialized Enterprise Performance Management software and analytics tools under senior team mentorship.

Desired Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with common data formats like CSV, JSON, and XML.
