Job Overview

Working under the guidance of a designated supervisor, the Instructional Assistant in Special Education supports a certificated teacher by assisting with teaching individual students or small groups within a special education setting. This role involves monitoring students' behavioral and academic progress and performing various clerical and classroom support duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers in delivering instruction to individual students or small groups.
• Observe and report on student behavior and academic performance to teachers.
• Complete clerical and administrative tasks to support classroom activities and operations.
