Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to deliver daily technical assistance, resolve hardware and software issues, and oversee the IT infrastructure. The candidate must possess practical knowledge of Microsoft platforms, networking, printers, virtual environments, remote desktop utilities, and backup technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for computers, printers, and other IT hardware
- Configure and troubleshoot email protocols including SMTP, POP, and IMAP
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 applications
- Manage user accounts, licenses, and settings via Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Handle Microsoft Exchange email services configuration and troubleshooting
- Perform Windows OS installation and reinstallation using bootable USB media
- Set up network printers with various modes: Driver, UI, and IP-based installations
- Execute data backup and restoration with OneDrive and Synology NAS
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, Wi-Fi networks, and basic connectivity
- Deploy and manage virtual machines and remote desktop connections for support
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain IT hardware inventory and oversee support ticket resolution
- Assist users with system setup, software installations, and IT inquiries
- Ensure regular updates, antivirus maintenance, and enforce data security best practices
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong grasp of SMTP, POP3, and IMAP email standards
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 applications and Admin Center management
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Exchange administration
- Experienced in Windows installation using bootable media
- Skilled in printer and network device configuration
- Familiar with OneDrive and Synology backup technologies
- Basic networking skills including router setup and troubleshooting
- Proficient with virtual machines and remote desktop tools supporting remote and onsite users
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities
Education & Experience
Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline. Candidates with 1-3 years of IT support or help desk experience are preferred, though fresh graduates with relevant internships or overseas exposure may also apply. Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
