Position Overview
Join ASE Global as an Information Technology Programmer based in Woodlands, Singapore. This role involves developing and maintaining various software applications vital for manufacturing processes and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and upkeep Production User Interfaces utilizing Visual Basic technology.
- Design, develop, and sustain internal applications using Java or .NET frameworks.
- Craft scripts in Perl, Python, or Shell to facilitate customer requests, reporting, and data manipulation.
- Analyze and interpret machine-generated data formats such as Semiconductor STDF and GPIB messages.
- Conduct user acceptance and integration testing in conjunction with internal Manufacturing Execution Systems through web services.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing manufacturing software applications.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Academic background in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages including Perl, Python, Java J2EE, and .NET C#.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, UML design, XML, and Web Services.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Visual Basic is considered beneficial.
- Experience with system integration involving Tester Advantest V93K and Teradyne UFLEX platforms is advantageous.
- Preferred candidates will have practical exposure within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
