Job Overview
Advance your career in Human Resources through a prominent position that involves collaboration with leadership, employee assistance, and fostering an inclusive and positive work culture. This contract role offers potential for contract-to-hire with a compensation range of $40-42 per hour. The work arrangement requires two days on-site at Providence, RI and the remainder remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and clarify HR policies, procedures, and employee-related issues.
- Handle employee relations matters, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on workforce planning and recruitment efforts.
- Contribute to organizational restructuring, updating job roles, and maintaining job descriptions.
- Administer HR programs including leave management, accommodations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Produce reports and analyze workforce metrics to inform decision-making.
- Keep precise HR documentation and uphold adherence to employment legislation and internal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- At least 3 years experience in HR, ideally as a Human Resources Generalist or in Employee Relations.
- Familiarity with employment laws, HR policies, and performance management practices.
- Proven ability to support managers and employees within dynamic work settings.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving competencies.
- Experience working with HRIS systems, especially Workday, preferred.
- Capacity to juggle various priorities while safeguarding confidentiality.
