Role Overview

The HSE Trainer – IGC is responsible for delivering exceptional Health, Safety, and Environment instruction focusing mainly on the NEBOSH International General Certificate. This full-time position involves remotely planning and conducting live virtual training sessions, preparing and revising teaching content, and ensuring all materials comply with NEBOSH guidelines as well as regional regulatory frameworks. The trainer evaluates student progress through assignments and examinations, providing tailored feedback and guidance to aid certification success.

Daily Tasks

• Organize and lead virtual health and safety training classes.
• Develop and update course materials in alignment with NEBOSH standards and local regulations.
• Assess learners’ work and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Keep detailed training records and documentation.
• Engage in continuous curriculum improvement efforts alongside other trainers and staff members.
• Participate in online meetings and workshops as required.

Candidate Profile

• Solid expertise in Health & Safety with a strong understanding of practical HSE applications and international standards.
• Possession of NEBOSH qualifications, preferentially the IGC or superior, and a sound understanding of the requirements for an accredited training centre.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, suited to virtual teaching environments.
• Experience in delivering safety training, conducting learner evaluations, and possessing instructional abilities.
• Additional credentials like teaching or trainer certifications, familiarity with virtual learning tools, and understanding of adult education principles are advantageous.
• Prior exposure to the GCC region, especially Qatar, including a working knowledge of local HSE laws and practices is beneficial.
• Demonstrated capability to independently manage responsibilities in a fully remote setting with excellent organizational skills and a learner-centric approach.
