Role overview
SAIC is hiring an HR Services Specialist to join its HR Shared Services function. In this position, you will help process a range of HR transactions accurately and efficiently using different systems and tools. The role is designed as fully remote within the U.S. for the right candidate.
Work details
This is a full-time day role with no travel requirement. No security clearance is needed at the time of hiring, and there is no minimum clearance requirement. The role may be performed remotely from within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Respond accurately and completely to a wide variety of HR questions through email, phone, and the ticketing platform, including basic research to verify information.
- Check and approve HCM transactions to make sure they follow established business process rules.
- Complete manual HCM entries for items such as employment changes, personal data updates, leave of absence actions, and credential updates.
- Examine daily audit reports and fix incorrect data or invalid data combinations.
- Contribute to special assignments and project work as needed.
- Coordinate closely with team members and other stakeholders to keep work moving toward shared goals.
- Assist with audit-related and compliance-related activities.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school education and at least 3 years of relevant HR experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, works well both independently and as part of a team, and pays close attention to detail. Strong protection of employee data and confidentiality is essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities, handle several tasks at once, and work to deadlines in a fast-moving setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as is the ability to troubleshoot issues on your own. Comfort with Microsoft Office is also expected.

US citizenship is mandatory for this position.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $40,001 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and other factors.
