About the Role
Join Sheraton Hotels & Resorts as a Human Resources Officer at our Sydney location where you will support the HR team on a full-time contract basis. You will play a crucial role in managing various stages of the employee lifecycle and contribute to building a welcoming and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing HR programs and initiatives that foster a sense of community and belonging among associates.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires and prepare employment contracts for managerial staff.
- Manage recruitment activities in line with talent acquisition protocols to attract qualified candidates.
- Collaborate closely with the HR team to strategically oversee employee engagement and lifecycle processes.
- Organize and execute well-being events such as TakeCare initiatives aimed at empowering staff development.
- Provide administrative assistance and respond to general HR inquiries to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the hotel’s talent acquisition efforts by maintaining engagement with associates.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable HR role is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment law and its practical application.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Valid work authorization to operate in Australia.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A positive, solution-driven attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
