Position Overview
Join the Workforce Directorate of the Scottish Ambulance Service, which delivers a comprehensive array of human resources services to around 6,000 employees across Scotland. This permanent role involves providing HR support primarily within the East Region of Scotland, advising managers and staff on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert HR advice and guidance to line managers and staff on various HR policies and employment law.
- Support employee relations cases and contribute to projects through the People Services Hub.
- Collaborate closely with HR colleagues and partnership teams to ensure effective delivery of services across the Scottish Ambulance Service.
- Provide daily assistance to the People Services Hub operations.
Requirements
- Experience in a comparable HR role is essential.
- Ability to work dynamically within a team and handle multiple HR responsibilities.
Location and Working Conditions
This role can be based at any Scottish Ambulance Service location across Scotland, though significant travel to multiple sites is necessary. Hybrid working arrangements may be possible.
