Role Overview
The HR Coordinator is an essential player in facilitating Talent Acquisition and broad HR activities at regional and enterprise scales. This role supports recruiting workflows, enhances candidate onboarding, and helps drive employee engagement through various cultural and team-building events, contributing to a positive work environment and ensuring streamlined HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage job postings, ensure ATS job information is current, and update job status accurately.
- Organize interview schedules, logistics, and communication with candidates.
- Facilitate recruiting events such as campus visits, industry associations, and community hiring efforts.
- Maintain and oversee the yearly calendar of recruiting outreach initiatives across multiple channels.
- Administer pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
- Enhance the candidate experience through timely communications, coordinating offer letters, onboarding agendas, and preparations.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers for an efficient recruitment process.
- Monitor and assess the participation and outcomes of recruitment events to improve strategies.
- Coordinate pre-onboarding tasks including IT setup and new hire readiness.
- Schedule and support orientation and onboarding sessions for new employees.
- Handle inquiries via the HR inbox and manage employment verification requests.
- Support team engagement through planning and implementing events, recognition programs, and culture-enhancing activities.
- Contribute to internal communications promoting company culture and employee experience.
- Manage event logistics, including registrations, vendors, preparation, and onsite support.
- Oversee ordering, inventory, and distribution of company-branded materials for recruiting and engagement.
- Partner with HR and leadership to assist in regional and company-wide engagement efforts.
- Collect and analyze feedback from new hires and hiring managers to continuously improve recruiting and onboarding.
- Provide administrative support to HR Business Partners and Generalists.
- Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and efforts for ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years' experience in human resources talent acquisition coordination or related administrative support role.
- Proven experience in managing confidential information is required.
Skills & Abilities
- Customer-oriented with a strong focus on enhancing candidate experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-moving work environment.
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional writing and editing capabilities; creativity in communication and event planning is advantageous.
- Capable of establishing and maintaining professional relationships.
- Professional, approachable, and confident demeanor.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Limited local and regional travel to support events and meetings.
- Work primarily consists of office tasks involving computer and phone work, mostly seated.
- Occasional light lifting of materials for events or office needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and support time-sensitive tasks such as event coordination.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay ranges between $26 and $36, with the final offer considering factors such as experience, education, specialty, and internal equity.
- Additional compensation includes eligibility for year-end bonuses based on company and individual performance, paid time off, and an extensive benefits package featuring health, dental, vision coverage, retirement matching, and 529 college savings plans.
