Role overview
An investment management firm in Boston is looking for an HR Coordinator to provide advanced administrative and operational support to its Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a base salary of $85,000 to $90,000, depending on experience. The role requires working on-site in the Boston office four days each week.
Core duties
- Act as executive administrative support for the Global DEI group, handling complex calendars, travel planning, expense submissions, and meeting coordination.
- Organize major internal and external events, conferences, and partnerships with industry associations.
- Back DEI-related programs and initiatives by coordinating committees, business network activities, client-facing materials, communications, and inclusion efforts.
- Be the main HR point of contact for client RFP and RFI questionnaires.
- Lead special assignments aimed at streamlining and automating HR operations.
- Arrange learning and development programs and manage relationships with outside training providers.
Candidate profile
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 3 years of executive support experience, ideally paired with human resources experience in a global, matrixed professional services setting.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Solid critical-thinking, analytical, troubleshooting, and project-management abilities.
- A self-driven, service-focused professional with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to juggle several priorities in a busy, collaborative environment while staying highly detail-oriented.
- Comfortable managing confidential information with discretion and integrity.
