Job Overview
RCPI is recruiting two HR Business Partners to collaborate closely with leaders and staff in specific departments, providing expert HR counsel and assistance across all stages of the employment cycle. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, they will enhance people management practices and lead employee engagement to foster a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive HR support to managers and employees throughout recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, employee relations, development, and exit processes.
- Assist with workforce planning and talent strategies aligning with organizational goals.
- Coach leaders on optimal people management techniques.
- Contribute to organizational development, engagement, and employee well-being programs.
- Handle investigations, disciplinary, and grievance procedures in compliance with policies and legal standards.
- Stay informed on employment laws and advise on compliance and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities including wellbeing initiatives and surveys.
- Manage occupational health referrals and support attendance management.
- Identify and recommend training and development opportunities in partnership with management.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends, providing performance insights to management.
- Lead HR improvement projects aligned with business objectives.
- Present HR updates and initiatives at internal communications events.
- Update and maintain HR documentation, policies, and procedures per best practices and regulatory changes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in roles such as HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or HR Advisor.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Proven experience managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and engagement.
- Hands-on experience handling employee relations issues including investigations and grievance processes.
- Solid knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, coaching, and influence.
- Familiarity with HR information systems and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary set at €57,000.
- 21 days of annual leave in addition to 3-4 college days and long service leave.
