Role Summary
The HR & Admin Executive role involves overseeing daily human resource activities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, managing payroll processes, and administering overall factory operations at a manufacturing facility. This position requires proactive involvement and practical implementation suited to a small-scale industrial environment with shop-floor employees.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise attendance tracking, leave management, overtime calculation, and shift scheduling for factory personnel.
- Coordinate payroll-related data such as attendance, overtime, incentives, and deductions in collaboration with the accounting department.
- Manage recruitment processes for factory staff including helpers, machine operators, and supervisory roles.
- Conduct onboarding procedures, maintain employee documentation, and handle exit formalities efficiently.
- Keep accurate employee records, personal files, and ID card issuance updated.
- Assist in tracking employee performance and enforcing disciplinary measures as directed by the leadership team.
- Address fundamental employee grievances and ensure welfare initiatives are implemented.
- Administer office and plant operations, overseeing housekeeping and security functions.
- Manage facilities such as canteen services, drinking water availability, washrooms hygiene, and supply of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) for workers.
- Oversee entrance gate controls, visitor registration, and vehicle movement within factory premises.
- Handle procurement of stationery, office consumables, and minor purchase requests.
- Provide assistance in vendor coordination pertaining to administrative services.
- Support preparations and participate in audits, client visits, and regulatory inspections.
