Role Summary

As a Housekeeper at Dexterra’s world-class camp facility in Shreveport, LA, you will play an essential role in upholding immaculate cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation standards of guest accommodations including rooms, dormitories, washrooms, and shared areas. This project begins with approximately 500 rooms and plans to expand to over 4,000, requiring reliable, detail-focused individuals committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and dormitories thoroughly.
• Make beds and replace linens efficiently.
• Dust and sanitize frequently touched surfaces.
• Dispose of garbage and recycling properly.
• Sanitize washrooms and shower areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, stairwells, and communal spaces.
• Complete scheduled room turnovers and check-outs accurately.
• Sanitize laundry areas and public high-touch points.
• Handle collection, laundering, folding, and restocking of towels and linens.
• Maintain orderly housekeeping carts and storage zones.
• Report any maintenance concerns or damages promptly to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and PPE protocols.
• Support additional housekeeping or janitorial duties as requested.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Experience in hotels, institutional settings, workforce accommodations, camps, or lodges advantageous.
• Familiarity with standard cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness standards.
• Physical capability to stand for lengthy periods and lift between 35 to 50 pounds.
• Compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
